BELL RINGERS
The Union County Alliance of Churches is needing volunteers to ring the bells on Nov 30th at the Anna Walmart.  Contact Judy Neal to sign up.
 
OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
-Shoe boxes are available in the foyer for anyone wishing to participate in this year's collection.  We will be collecting boxes until Nov 19th.  Please leave filled boxes in the back of the of the foyer.  We need 8-10 people to help pack on Wednesday, Nov 6th during the evening service.  If you are interested in helping to pack boxes, please contact Jill B.
-Things to pack: dolls, soccer balls, matchbox cars, jump ropes, stickers, Playdoh, cups, markers, pencils, notebooks, glue sticks, combs, brushes, soap, washcloths, Band-Aids, toothbrushes, shirts, hats, socks, and gloves.
 
FOOD PANTRY
The Murphysboro food pantry is looking for monetary donations or donations of food that they may give out during this holiday season. Pick up a blue sheet in foyer if you're interested.
 
NIGHT IN BETHLEHEM
Due to ongoing construction of the new Family Life Center, we will not be undertaking the Night In Bethlehem in 2019.  As an alternative, Murdale Baptist Church in Carbondale will hold their annual event again this year.  FBCC's Night In Bethlehem returns in 2020!
 
THANK CHRIST BANQUET
Our annual Thank Christ Banquet will be held on Dec 8th at 5:30pm in the fellowship hall.  We invite everyone to bring their family and friends to this special evening of fellowship and food.  We gather to give thanks to the Lord for all the blessings and grace He gives us daily.  Please bring a dessert to share.
 
MEALS VOLUNTEERS
We are composing a master list of individuals who would be willing to provide a meal for a family OR a dessert for a funeral dinner.  Volunteers will be on a rotation as needs arise.  Please contact the church office to be included on the roster.
 
LADIES' STUDY
We are excited to invite you to a new women's Bible study: Jeremiah-Daring to Hope in an Unstable World.  This 6 week study offers encouragement and help for women faced with the uncertainties and challenges of today.  Study meets Wednesdays at 9:30a, meeting at the church.  Sign up on the downstairs bulletin board or contact Vicki B with any questions.
 
 
MEN'S BIBLE STUDY
The Monday Morning study meets weekly at 8a.  Current topic is Philippians. 
 
YOUTH BIBLE STUDIES
Guys study continues on Tuesday nights at 6p, meeting at the CCBA office.  They will be studying Puritan Theology.   
Girls will be meeting at Carrie H's, studying You Who, by Rachel Jankovic.
   
CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
The Wednesday night children's activities at 6:30.  Leaders are: Pre-4th - Allison Hammer, 5th-8th - Pastor Matt
 
COBDEN WOMEN'S CLUB
Meets on the third Friday of the month at 2pm.  All ladies are welcome.  If you have any questions, see Mary Anna W.

*Cost is $4/person or $15/family.  Meal includes salad, drink, and dessert
